At NRF’25, Syrup gives planners a confidence boost with advanced demand sensing

Come visit the Syrup team in Booth #1239 on Level 1 at NRF’25, Retail’s Big Show in New York January 12-14, 2025.
In our third year at NRF, we’ll be showcasing our latest product innovation for merchandise planning leaders who seek to make buying and allocation decisions with more confidence. In 2025, this will include our approach to the “cold-start” problem of how to forecast demand for new items that have previously never been sold.
“We find that most planners base their newness buying decisions on look-alike items, such as a similarly styled shirt or dress. While this method works to some extent, it does not account for important parameters such as price, product attributes, and item complementarity across the assortment, which creates uncertainty. Our goal is to take this uncertainty out of the financial plan.”
James Theuerkauf,
Co-Founder and CEO
In addition to our latest advancements in demand forecasting for pre-season planning and buying, our team is also available to provide consultation for technology infrastructure teams on how to approach data normalization and systems integration when adopting AI-enabled technologies.
As always, Syrup will also showcase how our in-season allocation and replenishment solutions drive revenue growth and margin improvement at brands like Faherty, Reformation, and Abercrombie and Fitch.
Syrup’s advanced demand sensing models enable merchandise planning teams to optimize their buying, allocation, and replenishment decisions with confidence. If you’d like to schedule a time to meet with our team at NRF, email us at nrf@syrup.tech.
